1)The Rough Boring Cutters should be maintained and lubricated every month.
2)Rough Boring Cutters adjustment boring capacity the tool mark. Don’t rotate the dial beyond the boring capacity to prevent the rough dial from being used too much to cause damage to the Rough Boring Cutter.
3) When using the Rough Boring Cutter, pay attention to the damage degree of the Boring Head. If the knives are damaged, it will not only affect the processing, also increase the consumption of the Insert and cause unnecessary waste.
4) When the dial on Rough Boring Cutters is worn out or the scale is not clear, the Rough Boring Cutters should be replaced in time. It cannot be used continuously to prevent confusion when adjusting the scale.
Inspection items before processing
1)Observe the degree of use of the insert before processing. If the insert needs to be replaced, the hole should be larger than before replacing the new insert. The processing personnel should adjust the insert according to the degree of wear of the insert.
2) Before using the file, observe whether the thread and the handle connection are tight after the boring head. If it is not fastened or the fastening is not secure, the size of the hole before and after the hole will be inconsistent and the surface is rough.
Method of adjusting insert in processing
1) When starting the machining, firstly, according to the bottom hole (usually reserved 0.1-0.3mm), the small-scale test insert should be used. After the test is performed, the fine adjustment is performed according to the test result.
2) When debugging the Rough Boring Cutter, first loosen the fastening screw behind the boring head. For better adjustment accuracy, don’t let the fastening screw loose. Under normal circumstances, loosen 1-2 turns. Then press the dial of the boring head clockwise according to the scale. It should be noted that the diameter of the boring cutter will increase by 0.01mm for each scale. When adjusting the size, please pay attention to prevent the back gap between the rough boring head and the dial.
Firstly, turn it in the opposite direction and then return it to the positive direction. Then adjust the diameter according to the diameter of the test insert to the required size. The hole itself has tolerances.
When adjusting the insert, the range should be controlled to the middle part of the hole tolerance or the lower limit of the tolerance. This can avoid the machining size of the hole when the Rough Boring Cutters is unstable.
